P-P-P-PIZZA!

#it’s lucky that Christopher Eccleston has a talent for making me suspend my disbelief #cos he was amazing in this episode #and that’s good because this episode #required every bit of disbelief suspended #not quite as much as Eccleston’s guilt-ridden destroyer of worlds scenes opposite the 40 year old geek joke we call a Dalek though #my mum still can’t believe I can sometimes watch episodes with them and cry rather than just laugh #considering how much I generally hate sci-fi and shitty special effects #it amazes me how much I’ll put up with in this show #just because the perfection of the actors and writers and composers etc in manipulating our feelings is so damn addictive

I think the reason I was not so keen is because I’d only ever seen the odd David Tennant or Matt Smith episode and they came across like characters I wouldn’t like (even though I do now lol). Chris Eccleston was so much more approachable. Is it sort of normal that you have one Doctor that makes you fall in love with the series and then after you’ve watched them you can understand the rest?

That’s what people mean when they say they have “their Doctor”. I don’t think I have one, but a lot of people do. :)
